Happy Hour in Queens, NY

Join our first NYC event of 2026, and this time, we’re coming to Queens! This casual happy hour will be a great opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni, make new connections, and hear from the TC Alumni Relations office. TC will provide one drink ticket per person, plus appetizers!
This happy hour will feature a TC Impact Day donation drive for Believe NY, hosted by Stuti Munjal (M.A. '24). We are collecting baby items and non-perishable food items.
Volunteer at Broadway Kitchen in Morningside Heights
Tuesday, March 3, 3pm EST
Join TC alumni, students, and staff members in Morningside Heights to support our neighbors by volunteering at Broadway Community Kitchen.
As a volunteer, you’ll assist with preparing and distributing lunch, serving beverages, receiving deliveries, and supporting our kitchen team in crafting thoughtful, nourishing meals. No prior training is necessary—the Broadway Community team will guide you every step of the way.

Join TC alumni & friends in Hawai’i for a tour of the Bishop Museum and day of connection and community building in celebration of TC Impact Day. We will take a formal 30-minute guided tour of the Hawaiian Hall. After the scheduled formal tour, you will have time to explore the rest of the campus (i.e., Pacific Hall, Science Adventure Center, Native Garden, etc.) on your own. In addition, please bring a donation or two (or more!) to support the Hawaii Food Bank.

Join hosts Michael Palmieri (Ed.D. '23) and Sylvia Roldán (M.A. '06) and TC alumni in Los Angeles to Project Angel Food prepares and delivers healthy meals to feed people impacted by serious illness, bringing comfort and hope every day.
Volunteers will perform any of the following: chopping vegetables, filling food trays, packaging food, or labeling food. Then we will go to lunch at Cafe Gratitude in the same neighborhood.

Join the Hayes Valley Neighborhood Association, the Civic Joy Fund, SF Public Works, RefuseRefuseSF, ShineOn and TogetherSF for a friendly neighborhood cleanup! Volunteers will meet at Gambit Lounge (581 Hayes St) on Saturday, February 28th, to clean from 10am to 11am, then enjoy snacks and each other’s company. Then receive a voucher for freebies and discounts at local merchants. Sign up today and let’s beautify San Francisco together!

Join host Kim McCrea (M.A. ’97) and TC alumni in Westchester and Putnam Counties to assemble care packages and write letters to deployed US troops. We will gather at United for Troops headquarters in Carmel, NY, and connect with one another while providing some comfort from home for the troops.
In addition, please bring a small bag of soil, and old American flag or individual toiletries to send.

Join TC alumni & friends in San Diego for a day of connection and community building in celebration of TC Impact Day on Tuesday, March 3 at 6:00 pm PST at New English Brewing. This will be the second recurring TC Alumni meet up in San Diego, hosted by Kim Masiello (M.A. ’10), and we will also be collecting donations for Labs and More, a dog rescue in San Diego.
Please bring dog toys for larger dogs or an unopened and unexpired bag of soft dog treats to donate, and plan to join for a chance to connect.
